How to be a guard?- It is very difficult to be a guard there- there is 96% fail rate for the test. The guard is a high honor to serve. They can work at the tomb for 2 years. Only 3 women have guarded the tomb. They walk 21 steps, pause 21 seconds, then walk 21 steps.

ReplyDeleteThey are on for 1 hour each then rotate but do it multiple times a day. The tomb is guarded 24 hours a day.
